Owensville Lions Club

The 46,000 Club's and 1.4+ million member make the Lions Club the world's largest service club organization in the world. as well as one of the most effective.  Lions club members do whatever is needed to help their local communities.  Everywhere Lions work, Lions make friend, with children who need eyeglasses, with seniors who don't have enough to eat, and with people Lions may never meet.  Whenever a Lions club gets together, problems get smaller, and communities get better.  This is because Lions help where help is needed, in our communities and around the work, with unmatched integrity and energy.  Click here to learn more about the Lions Club.

Owensville Chamber of Commerce

Owensville's Chamber of Commerce met for the first time on February 24, 1920, under the name of Owensville Club, with 40 members signing the by-laws and paying membership fees of $5.00 each.  The purpose of the club was to advance the commercial, industrial, and civic interests of Owensville and its trade area, with the secretary to correspond with shoe factories and other businesses to encourage them to locate in Owensville.
