Dutchmen Football (Booster and Predictions)
Those of you that know me are fully aware of my passion for the game of football. As a former player and coach in the Owensville Dutchmen football program, I have a long-standing interest in seeing all our players succeed, both on the field and in the classroom. Football Friday nights in the fall are a wonderful way for all members of a community to connect in support of a common cause.
I encourage you to come up to Dutchmen field in support of our players, cheerleaders and band members this fall.
Starting this season, I am going to pick the final score of each Owensville Dutchmen varsity football game. If I pick the score correctly, a donation will be made to a predetermined local charitable cause. If I do not pick the score correctly, $25 will be added the previous weeks donation until a correct score is picked. Click here to see the results.
Owensville Lions Club
The 46,000 Club's and 1.4+ million member make the Lions Club the world's largest service club organization in the world. as well as one of the most effective. Lions club members do whatever is needed to help their local communities. Everywhere Lions work, Lions make friend, with children who need eyeglasses, with seniors who don't have enough to eat, and with people Lions may never meet. Whenever a Lions club gets together, problems get smaller, and communities get better. Owensville Chamber of Commerce
Owensville's Chamber of Commerce met for the first time on February 24, 1920, under the name of Owensville Club, with 40 members signing the by-laws and paying membership fees of $5.00 each. The purpose of the club was to advance the commercial, industrial, and civic interests of Owensville and its trade area, with the secretary to correspond with shoe factories and other businesses to encourage them to locate in Owensville.
